A leading industrial company in Sahab is seeking to hire a Purchasing Officer to join its team with the following:
Job Responsibilities :-
1. Research potential vendors
2. Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
3. Track orders and ensure timely delivery
4. Review quality of purchased products
5. Enter orders details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
6. Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
7. Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis
8. Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
9. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
10. Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends
11. Issuance of purchase order.
12. Other tasks required by the superior.
13. Going outside to look for and compare the price and the physical look of an item from one market to another.
14. Issuance of purchase order.
15. Closing all purchase orders along to their receipt invoice and deliver all the needed documents to the accounting department.
16. Purchase products that are essential for our company’s day-to-day operations.
17. Review prices and quality and ensure optimal stock levels, evaluating and negotiating vendors.
18. Identifying the most profitable offers by having a good knowledge of market research along with solid analytical skills.
Requierments and Experiences:-
1. BSc. In Business Administration/ Management or BSc. In Industrial Engineering
2. 3-5 years’ experience in the same position
3. Proficiency with MS Office software required (Outlook, word, excel and powerpoint)
4. Excellent oral and written English and Arabic kills is required
5. Outstanding communication, organization and time management skills
6. Certificate in supply chain management is a plus
