Electrical Maintenance Engineering Supervisor
Job Summary:
Supervise all electrical daily maintenance works and assign technicians tasks for daily work plan with all related sections.
performing requested diagnostics, and troubleshooting electrical equipment failures, this includes power transformers, switchgears, generators, VFDs, MCCs, distribution networks, cables, protection & SMART relays, voltage regulation STATCOM, and power factor correction units.
Prepare technical reports for emergency electrical failures (Root Cause analyses RCA)
Follow up scheduled and emergency maintenance activities, prepare weekly plan and shutdown works.
Review / Validate detailed design and Engineering Deliverables
Analyzing existing processes and scheduling meetings to discuss improvement initiatives.
Ensure implementing all electrical maintenance works and sending works status feedback to planning sections.
Conduct safety regular meetings with subordinates, conduct scheduled safety tours at workplaces to ensure safe behavior and safe conditions according to the safety policies, procedures and safety requirements and intervene with actions as required.
Comply with all APC policies and procedures and share them with the subordinates to assure all are understood and implemented effectively as per APC directions, regulations, and ISO standards.
Response to all emergency calls and perform other duties as required.

Job Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in power electrical Engineering.
At least (8) years of experience in in similar filed
Practical experience with electrical system S/Ws (SMART relays, DIGSI 5&4, Digital Substation, Siprotec protection relays, communication protocols ….)
Paratactical experience in using testing and commissioning switchgears using EMCRON is preferable.
Fluent in English language writing, reading, and presenting.
Computer skills (Proficiency in MS office).

2- Accounts Payable Supervisor
Job Summary
Responsible for Section Head the Accounts Payable function and to assure the accuracy of the Accounts Payable sub-ledger.
Executive & Technical Duties
Checking the adequacy of the provisions and funds balances on monthly and quarterly basis. Advise the Accounting Manager of the provisions that should be adjusted.
Checking on monthly basis the Accounts Payable Invoice Aging report and investigate any long outstanding invoices and/or debit balances.
Checking -on a monthly basis- outstanding debit memos on the Accounts Payable and propose the necessary actions to resolve the issue.
Checking -on a monthly basis- outstanding advance payments made to vendors and propose the necessary actions to resolve the problem.
Checking -on a monthly basis- any un-invoiced receipts and propose the necessary actions to resolve the issue.
Approving and reviewing invoices entered by AP accountants. The approval should include verification of the coding (cost center, location, responsibility…etc) and proper approval as per authority matrix.
Reviewing -on a monthly basis- the Vendors Master Files Changes report, and report to Financial Controller any major adjustments.
Assuring the timely booking of various Accounts Payable invoices.
Advising the Accounting Manager of the completion of all the tasks related to the monthly closing of Accounts Payable Module and perform and necessary transfers to the General Ledger.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or equivalent.
(8) years’ experience in general Accounting, month-end closing, accounts payable, fixed assets, inter-company transactions, audits.
Excellent technical accounting skills.
Strong knowledge and experience with IFRS and accrual accounting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, solve problems under time constraints, meet deadlines and deliver results.
Must have a strong sense of urgency.
Take accountability for projects and assignments to ensure their ultimate completion.
Detailed-oriented.
Ability to decipher large amounts of data without getting lost in the details and ability to present in a summarized format for management presentations.
Ability to supervise and provide guidance to the accounts payable team.

Arab Potash Company (APC) is the eighth largest potash producer worldwide by volume of production and the sole potash producer in the Arab World. The Opportunity
APC strategically invests in research and development (R&D) to drive its innovation strategy and business development. This includes the construction of a $6 million Research, Development, and Innovation (RD&I) Center, which is to be completed by the end of 2023. The founding chief scientist of the RD&I Center will lead these strategic efforts and be part of an exciting new opportunity to drive APC’s innovation and business goals.
The Chief Scientist of the RD&I Center will lead the newly created RD&I Center and drive the research and development activities to achieve APC’s strategic goals for the RD&I Center. This role has direct responsibility for the R&D activities of APC, including hiring and managing research scientists and staff for the RD&I Center, planning, annual budgeting, and collaboratively managing research projects with internal and external partners. The successful candidate will set expectations for research staff and measure their productivity and progress towards R&D deliverables.
Duties
Serve as the scientific leader in interdisciplinary, cross-departmental research that includes but is not limited to leading research scientists and staff, developing and resourcing research programs to achieve APC goals, and communicating with executive management.
Drive innovation, enhance technical collaboration between APC business units, including the Technical Directorate, to set R&D goals and achieve them, and measure the effectiveness of R&D in achieving deliverables.
Lead direct reports and mentor scientists, engineers, and staff of the RD&I Center by providing a clear vision, facilitating continuous improvement, and resourcing research capability.

Minimum Qualifications
Graduate degree preferred PhD degree or equivalent in Chemistry or relevant Engineering disciplines (e.g., Chemical, Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Ceramic Engineering) or related fields (Materials Science, Mineral Processing, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications
Strong track record of generating intellectual property (patents or journal publications in reputable journals)
Minimum 10 years of experience in R&D, preferred in potash and/or fertilizers industry.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading teams of engineers or scientists.
Relevant work experience will include functional leadership, project management, technology planning, budgeting, and management and development of a team of direct reports.
Knowledge of and familiarity with future directions in the fertilizer business.
Demonstrated technical leadership and communication skills.
