١-  Referral Doctor

Job Title:       Referral Doctor
Report to:      Medical Coordinator
Location:       Azraq Camp

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Review all referred cases to determine completeness of documentation, accuracy of the differential diagnosis and take most appropriate and timely recommendation and action
  • For all non-urgent cases review the need for referral
  • Ensure that documentation (proper referral form, and laboratory investigations) are transmitted to the outside referral center
  • Be the lead and responsible person to communicate with JHAS referral hub and if necessary with the external hospital
  • Ensure follow up of referred cases in the outside facility as well as on medication, appointment and further required follow up
  • Follow up on the feedback of referred cases and ensure that the feedback is communicated properly with the patient or attending physician as appropriate
  • Guide and supervise the referral officer on priority setting, management of resources including the ambulances
  • Provide on job training to medical and referral staff
  • Supervise reporting of  IMC referral activities/statistics, analysis
  • Support  medical team in day-to-day activities, in areas of specialty such as chronic patients, ER

Qualifications:
  • Internal Medicine specialist with at least 3 years’ experience,
  • registered with the Jordanian Medical Association,
  • license to practice in Jordan form Jordan MOH.

٢-  Psychology Trainer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct psychologist/ counselor training need assessment
  • Review the current available educational and training modules,
  • Prepare psychologist/ counselor training materials for all in-person sessions.
  • Prepare related training presentations pre/ post tool, slides, hand-outs, guide, and/or exercise
  • conduct three trainings for psychologist/ counselor on beginners and advance level
  • Monitor performance and progress of trainees
  • Analyze and interpret the results of the pre/post knowledge assessment
  • Design psychologist/ counselor supervision tool to be used for on the job training and follow up
  • Support in any other relevant responsibilities for trainings assigned by the MHPSS coordinator
Qualifications:
  • Master degree in clinical psychology or counseling psychology
  • Training experience required
  • TOT is preferable
  • 3 year experience in mental health practice

٣-  Senior Child Protection Officer (camps, Azraq & Zaatari)

Child protection is the prevention of and response to abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence against children. Child protection case management is the process of helping individual children and families through direct social-work-type support, and managing information well. Within child protection case management, there should be appropriate involvement of children throughout the process, as well as full consideration of the best interests of the child.                         
The position of Senior Child Protection Officer (camps) will be a seasoned protection professional with a formal degree in psychology, sociology or social work. The Senior Child Protection Officer will provide direct supervision to the IMC Child Protection Team Leaders in both Za’atari and Azraq camps. The Child Protection Team Leaders each manage a team of Child Protection Case Managers in the camps, with these Case Managers being responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring and overall evaluation of individual children’s needs. This includes all children identified as being at risk in both camps, with the exception of unaccompanied and separated children in Azraq camp, as this profile is managed by another INGO.
In addition, the Senior Child protection Officer will supervise the Team Leader of IMC’s Women’s Reception Area in Azraq camp. The Women’s Reception Area provides short term accommodation and reception services for women and their children who are in female headed households who arrive to Azraq camp from other locations.
The Senior Child Protection Officer (camps) reports directly to IMC’s Camps Coordinator, and receives technical guidance and supervision from IMC’s Protection Advisor.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities 
Scope of Work:
  • Responsible for the direct supervision of 2 Child Protection Team Leaders, one each in Azraq Camp and Za’atari Camp. Each of these Child Protection Team Leaders is responsible for the management of large child protection teams in both camps.
  • Responsible for the direct supervision of the IMC Women’s Reception Area Team Leader in Azraq camp. The Reception Area Team Leader is responsible for running the Reception Area and managing a team of caseworkers who support the women and their families who reside in the Reception Area, usually very short term.
  • In addition to direct supervision and management tasks, provide technical guidance, support, mentoring, coaching and role modeling of best practice for child protection case management, both to the Child Protection Team Leaders, Case Managers and to all child protection staff in the camps.
  • Represent IMC at all field level protection and child protection coordination meetings.
  • Alongside an SGBV service provider in Za’atari camp, co-chair the Child Protection/SGBV Sub Working Group in Za’atari Camp.
  • Maintain close coordination with IMC’s Protection Advisor and other Child Protection Technical staff, to identify and address any technical aspects related to the child protection program, in order to ensure high quality services in both camps
  • Closely support the Child Protection Team Leaders and Child Protection Case Managers with all cases undergoing Best Interest Determination (BID) process. This includes review of all BID reports, attendance at BID panels to support IMC BID cases, and represent IMC where cases of other agencies are presented. In addition, ensure timely and clear communication to the Protection Advisor regarding all BID cases
  • Coordinate and participate in case conferences, both internal and external, for complex and other cases as required in both camps
  • Support the recruitment process for all child protection staff in the camps
  • Ensure high quality child protection case management services are being provided to children, and that documentation completed by Child Protection Case Managers reflects this. This will be done through capacity building and training for staff, and quality measures such as file checking and case discussions and reflections
  • Work closely and effectively with other IMC departments to ensure coordination between child protection and other sectors of intervention, primarily health, mental health and PSS services
  • Contribute to donor reporting in relation to child protection activities in both camps, ensuring high quality and accurate reporting of data and activities, as well as capacity building staff to ensure they are able to actively and effectively continue to donor reporting
  • Work with IMC MEAL team to ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of child protection activities in the camps, including regular engagement with beneficiaries
  • Promote and communicate Child Safeguarding and PSEA to all staff in the camps, and ensure that any issues are brought the attention, including through proper reporting mechanisms, to IMC’s focal points for both Child Safeguarding and PSEA
  • Ensure high quality correspondence with local partners, other agencies and governmental organizations
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by supervisor

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Social Science or related field is mandatory
- Child Protection Case Management experience is mandatory
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Arabic and English
- Experience in working with children
