CBS Project Coordinator


1. Job Purpose
  
The Convergent Billing Systems Project Coordinatior is responsible for convergent charging & billing project in terms of tracking project scope, requirements, coordination, deliverables, monitoring deadlines and timely status reporting of cross-functional project to management. 
Supporting the management with assigned tasks and working a cross major departments to organize, document and follow up highlighting variances as they arise. 
  
2. Roles & Responsibilities:   
  • Compose statements of work, maintain up-to-date documentation of all project requirements and assist in the definition of project scope, objectives and timeline involving all relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility. 
  • Provide regular progress reports in weekly basis to management lining out project statuses, challenges faced, upcoming proposals, alerting of problem/conflicts related to the assigned project to ensure that the management team are fully briefed and cognizant of key successes and obstacles. 
  • Hold regular status update meetings with project stakeholder and effectively monitoring all aspects of project plan and execution ensuring that major project activities, milestones and deliverables are tracked and progress is accurately reported. 
  • Plan and co-ordinate design development, project schedules and budgets to ensure that work is progressing as planned. 
  • Track and follow up tender process and procurement activities including bid management, vendor management, risk management and contract management. 
  • Monitor the progress and ensure projects are completed within desired time, quality and cost, in compliance with drawings, specifications, quality and authorities’ requirements to ensure that all project’s deliverables are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. 
  • Provide continuous oversight of the project cycle and identify need for adjustment and improvement of systems and processes to improve efficiency, improve quality of deliverables and review all changes in project plans. 
  • Assume overall accountability for project delivery, work plan management, project-related paperwork and a high standard of reporting to the management. 
  • Prepare and complete project overall plans and sub-plans including performing risk management to reduce risks; implement production, productivity, quality service standards and resolution of ad-hoc issues. 
  • Schedule meetings, coordinate communication regarding project progress, and risks that impact budget and/or timeline. 
  • Support PMO tools and templates; updating PMO processes, procedures, and responsibilities. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. 
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and prioritize requirements. 
  • Identify and escalate significant project risks and ensure their resolution 
  • Evaluate the project scope in-depth to schedule deliverables, create execution plan and baselines ,escalate project issues and manage expectations 
  • Ensure project awarded is successfully executed within the project scope, requested lead-time, with the highest quality standards and within the assigned budget. 
  • Negotiate with vendors, business scope changes and any variance to the original project scope. 
  • Identify, manage and mitigate risks to the success of the project. 
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation from initiation to closure. 
  • Provide feedback and information to management with reports on activities, schedules, and vendors’ assessment, etc. 
  • Collaborate with project teams and various internal stakeholder groups on an ongoing basis to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet customer expectations. 
  • Perform a wide variety of administrative duties as required to support project completion. 
  • Additional responsibilities might be added at the direction of company’s management. 


3. Requirements    
  
Education: Bachelor Degree in any IT related discipline. 

Expert level: 3 – 5 years of experience in project management/IT field 

Knowledge Of:
  • Telecom Architecture. 
  • IT systems and Architecture. 
  • Charging & Billing Platform. 
  • CRM/POS. 
  • Analytics. 
  • Project Controls and Project Management tools. 
  • Experience in dealing with relevant project is a plus. 

Skills Of:
  • Project Management: Project Planning Tracking, Resource Allocation and Budgeting, Project Reporting, Issue Resolution. 
  • Vendor Management: Contract administration, SLA management 
  • IT Strategy and PlanningHardware solutions strategy and planning, Operations strategy and planning, Business Continuity and Contingency Planning, Storage solutions strategy and planning, Network and communications solutions strategy and planning ,IT Costing and Budgeting, Applications strategy and planning, Security policies and procedures, New technologies assessment.
  • Risk Management Risk assessment techniques, Mitigation techniques and Risk probability and estimation 
  • Contract Management: Contract design techniques, Contracting techniques 
  • Quality Management: Quality management tools, Quality assurance business processes, Quality testing and Quality auditing 
  • Process Management: Business processes and procedures, Measurement techniques, Process modeling Process analysis and Process mapping 
  • Analysis TechniquesRequirements collection, Requirements analysis, Design and Problem solving. 
  • Testing:  Software testing and Technical quality assurance. 
  • Excellent command of English language speaking and writing. 
  • Proficient command of MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project) 


Work Environment: Capability to adapt to long working hours .
