Senior Translator (English to Arabic)
Job Qualifications:
Job seekers should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in business, commercial and preferably legal translation and should be fluent in English and Arabic.
Job Responsibilities:
- Translate original material from source language to target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained.
- Check translations of technical terms and terminology to ensure that they are accurate and remain consistent throughout translation revisions.
- Compile terminology and information to be used in translations including technical terms such as those for legal or financial documents.
- Proofread, edit and revise translated documents and ensure its accuracy and use of appropriate and precise technical terms.
- Follow ethical codes that protect the confidentiality of information.
- Liaising with clients to clarify any ambiguities or disparities
Minimum Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor degree holder or higher
- 7 years of translation experience
- Excellent command of both Arabic and English
- Proficiency in MS Office
