Mechanical Technician
A well-known automotive company opening in Amman is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of "Mechanical Technician". The Ideal candidate should have the following requirements:
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a mechanical technician in automotive industry, master experience of mechanics
High school or Diploma in mechanics or any relevant field
Basic English knowledge
Job responsibilities:
Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations and headlight/taillight installations
Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair
Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers' problems and provide accurate repair recommendation
Inspect vehicles according to the state's requirements for emissions and safety
Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness
Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety

Service Advisor
A well-known automotive company opening in Amman is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of "Service Advisor". He/she will responsible for addressing customer concerns about their vehicles and advising on the best course of action. The Ideal candidate should have the following requirements:
Demonstrates detailed knowledge of the automotive industry.
5 years of practical experience within an automotive industry.
Possesses working knowledge of the makeups, frequent problems, and necessary maintenance for a variety of vehicles.
Exhibits strong customer service skills.
Very Good command of English language both written and spoken
Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering
Possesses basic computer skills.
Strong understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Offer excellent customer service from receiving to releasing of their vehicles
Translate customer-reported problems to actionable work orders for technicians to complete
Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding services
Maintain customer records and enter data into computer databases
Following up with customers
Takes detailed notes about symptoms based on customer testimony.
Inspects vehicle to further analyze the problem.
Advises customer on necessary repairs and maintenance
Processes warranty claims on a timely basis.
Processes all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation.
Verifies criteria required by factory or distributor.
Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule.
Follows up on payment of outstanding claims.
