Under overall supervision of the Senior Regional Project Coordinator (MER) in Amman, Jordan and the direct technical and administrative supervision of the Technical Officer (TB/HIV), the incumbent will be responsible for:
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of the GF MER program according to the operational plan and in alignment with national program guidelines.
- Implementation of the agreed upon SOPs and follow the national Tuberculosis (TB) /HIV guidelines during the daily activities.
- Perform TB active case finding through TB screening among refugees inside and outside the camps.
- Coordinate with the National TB Program (NTP) to conduct a prescheduled X-ray screening field visits through the utilization of the NTP/ MOH mobile X ray vehicle.
- Ensure referral of presumptive TB/HIV cases to the MOH designated facilities and completion of the required laboratory examinations of presumptive case.
- Conduct proper documentation of newly diagnosed TB cases among refugees and migrants with recording cases full information and maintain confidentiality of information, collaborative relationship with beneficiaries, governmental partners and private sector and NGO health professionals.
- Provide patients with sufficient information about TB/HIV during the daily duties; to raise awareness toward TB/HIV.
- Coordinate with different partners who provide services for refugees and migrants to integrate TB/HIV awareness raising within their daily duties to extend refugees and migrants accessibility to available services.
- Conduct training sessions to health partners in the field.
- Identify challenges in the implementation of the field activities and report to the supervisor with potential solutions
- Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Education and Experience
- Education:
University degree in Nursing, with registered nursing certificate.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience working in Jordan on Global Fund grants. Prior working experience in communicable diseases particualy in Tuberculosis will be an asset.
- Knowledge of the basic principles of International Public Health and Migration Health
- Knowledge of governmental health strategies, guidelines, and programming processes is desirable.
- Languages:
Fluency in English and Arabic is required

المهام / المسؤوليات الأساسية:
دعم تنفيذ برنامج GF MER وفقًا للخطة التشغيلية وبما يتماشى مع إرشادات البرنامج الوطني.
تنفيذ إجراءات التشغيل الموحدة المتفق عليها واتباع الدلائل الإرشادية الوطنية لمكافحة السل (TB) / فيروس نقص المناعة البشرية أثناء الأنشطة اليومية.
إجراء الكشف النشط عن حالات السل من خلال فحص السل بين اللاجئين داخل وخارج المخيمات.
التنسيق مع البرنامج الوطني لمكافحة السل (NTP) لإجراء زيارات ميدانية مجدولة مسبقًا لفحص الأشعة السينية من خلال استخدام مركبة NTP / MOH المتنقلة للأشعة السينية.
ضمان إحالة حالات الإصابة بالسل / فيروس نقص المناعة البشرية إلى المرافق المخصصة لوزارة الصحة وإكمال الفحوصات المختبرية المطلوبة للحالة الافتراضية.
إجراء التوثيق المناسب لحالات السل المشخصة حديثًا بين اللاجئين والمهاجرين مع تسجيل المعلومات الكاملة للحالات والحفاظ على سرية المعلومات والعلاقة التعاونية مع المستفيدين والشركاء الحكوميين والمهنيين الصحيين في القطاع الخاص والمنظمات غير الحكومية.
تزويد المرضى بالمعلومات الكافية عن مرض السل / فيروس نقص المناعة البشرية أثناء الواجبات اليومية ؛ لرفع مستوى الوعي تجاه السل / فيروس نقص المناعة البشرية.
التنسيق مع مختلف الشركاء الذين يقدمون خدمات للاجئين والمهاجرين لإدماج التوعية بالسل / فيروس نقص المناعة البشرية في واجباتهم اليومية لتوسيع إمكانية وصول اللاجئين والمهاجرين إلى الخدمات المتاحة.
عقد دورات تدريبية للشركاء الصحيين في الميدان.
تحديد التحديات في تنفيذ الأنشطة الميدانية وتقديم تقرير إلى المشرف مع الحلول المحتملة
القيام بأية واجبات أخرى قد يكلف بها المشرف.
التعليم و الخبرة
التعليم:
شهادة جامعية في التمريض مع شهادة تمريض مسجلة.
تجربة:
خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في العمل في الأردن بمنح الصندوق العالمي. ستكون خبرة العمل السابقة في مجال الأمراض المعدية خاصة في مرض السل ميزة إضافية.
معرفة المبادئ الأساسية للصحة العامة الدولية وصحة الهجرة
من المستحسن معرفة الاستراتيجيات الصحية الحكومية ، والمبادئ التوجيهية ، وعمليات البرمجة.
