Business Development Officer
Scope:
Expanding the company’s clientele by discovering and exploring business opportunities as well as improving the company’s current products by continuously monitoring the different items on the existing portfolio. The business development officer is to create and conduct market research as well as develop a business plan and apply effective sales and marketing strategies.
Qualifications/Skills:
Essential Qualifications:
BA degree in Pharmacy, business related degree or any related discipline, further studies are a plus
Essential Skills:
- Fluency in English both verbal and written
- Experience in decision making and solving issues by using critical thinking methods and strong analytical skills
- Having excellent research skills with the ability of presenting the information in a concise manner
- Having excellent computer skills
- Having excellent communication and leadership skills
- Having meticulous attention to detail
- Having excellent time management, follow up and organization skills
- Being well rounded and flexible to work in a diverse environment with people of different backgrounds
The ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
- Discovering and exploring opportunities as well as contacting potential clients through different communication tools
- Attending trainings, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional exhibitions and conferences
- Developing and executing business plans, strategies and tactics to grow the business and expand our network of clients
- Providing support to the marketing team with production of marketing materials and tools and taking part in multiple events such as launching a new product/line, trainings, webinars, and the different activities t held inside pharmacies and clinics.
- Run projects that support the company’s development and work closely with different departments such as IT, regulatory, supply chain and hospital care.
- Running and managing campaigns on social media by proposing and overseeing creative content, including videos and blog posts
- Analyzing marketing data regarding campaign results
