Internal Auditor
Job Description:
- Propose and plan for financial/operational audit assignments in coordination with the line manager.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiencies of current financial/operational controls.
- Knowledge of financial/operational risks and ability to propose effective solutions.
- Ability to evaluate financial impact on other related functions (i.e. operations) and to communicate highlight potential risk and opportunity.
- Ability to learn internal audit risk assessment and evaluation.
- Prepare and present financial reports of audit findings and recommendations to the line manager.
- Develop strategic initiatives to maintain and improve the financial audit methodology.
- Assist senior auditors in conducting financial control audits and ensuring presence and functionality.
- Ensuring compliance with the International Financial Reporting Standards "IFRS".
- Perform related work as assigned by the internal audit managers and senior internal auditors.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or fields relevant to audits. Professional certification a plus.
- 2 years of experience in a similar auditing position with extensive knowledge in internal audit standards. .
- Excellent reporting skills in both Arabic and English.
- Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical thinking, time management, decision making and multitasking skills.
