Job Description
Main goals
Developing and implementing overall marketing strategy in the assigned market to obtain sustainable growth and significant improvements in market share in both (premium and non-premium) segments and to enhance the Company’s image and value proposition.
Responsibilities (detailed tasks, description of main responsibilities)
• Developing / Planning / Directing / Controlling Marketing Strategy / Products Strategy and Promotional Programs;
• Preparing annual marketing budget preparation and adjustment
• Implementing global marketing initiatives (Product launches, Practice Management & MarCom campaigns) by adjusting local market relevant top spin
• Acting as sparring partner with regional team and HQ to validate and to channel market needs to the global organization
• Tracking actively sales performances of key initiatives and coordinates action plans with the sales department
• Establishing and implementing marketing & sales campaigns to drive portfolio in close cooperation with the regional and local sales organizations
• Responsible for all marketing activities – customer programs, industry events, communication, product launches & special projects
• Establishing marketing goals to grow the market shares in close cooperation with Regional Marketing Management
• Establishing sales forecasts annually and monitors monthly actual results to evaluate positioning
• Developing routine trending reports and revising projections as needed
• Conducting periodic competitive analysis to include pricing and product positioning, adjusting strategies as appropriate
• Forming & executing local marketing strategy in close cooperation with Sales and local Country Manager
• Acting as ‘gate keeper’ for assigned KOLs, managing relationship, evaluating ROLs for potential to be Rising Stars for KOLs (in direct alignment with local Education Manager)
• Tracking actively sales performances of key initiatives and coordinating action plans with the sales department
• Representing the local market needs on an international and regional level through active participation in regional and global meetings and formats
• Building up local marketing and service support structure for different brands
• Developing and managing digital marketing activities to further drive the digital transformation
• Being in charge of Country & Regional market data management in the Jordanian region
• Controlling development of promotional materials
• Organizing and leading the further ITI development in Jordan together with ITI HQ in Basel
Qualifications :
Education (with key words)
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in life sciences and/or business administration, marketing or equivalent
• 7-10 years of successful experience in Marketing management position within dental industry or i·n industries with similar go-to-market strategy, e.g. ophthalmology, medical devices
• Strong business acumen: able to understand and to deal with business risks and opportunities and to use a business potential for long-term prospective
• Marketing Management: possesses methods and tools for developing and implementation of a marketing strategy and all marketing activities
• People management: possesses methods and tools for team- formation, team-building and developing, active leadership skills
• Fluent English & Arabic, any additional language is an advantage
• Strong commercial (sales) mindset
