Operations Officer
General Description:
Handling the operational and documentation aspects for both NVOCC export and import shipments, transport, and clearance services through direct customer contact while properly maintaining customers’ databases.
Main Responsibilieies:
- Handling clients’ inquiries regarding land, sea, Airfreight, and clearance for import and export Shipments.
- Provide operational services by checking providers for services, negotiating prices, preparing freight offers, and booking shipments.
- Coordinate the daily logistics operations with exporters, shippers, transportation, and warehousing companies.
- Keeping the customers informed about their offers, shipments, and updates.
- Ensuring that documentation from BL, Delivery Orders, releases, invoices,.. etc is in order.
- Following up on some of the clients' issues, requests, and complaints.
- Maintaining all customers and shipments databases.
Minimum Requirements/ Qualifications:
Nationality: Jordanian
Educational Level: Bachelor’s Degree
Job-Related Experience: 1 to 4 years.
English Language: Very good
PC Skills: Very good
Communication: Very good
Others: - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High customer orientation.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
