Abu Khader Group is looking for an Accountant Job Description & Summary

This position is mainly responsible of performing intermediate accounting functions within the General Ledger, Financial Data reporting adhering to policies and procedures of the company.

Detailed responsibilities include:

  • -  Ensure all work undertaken complies with company policy and financial laws.

  • -  Guarantee high quality of internal administration, filing and traceability of all documents to ensure efficiency and

    effectiveness of the department.

  • -  Assistinpreparationofmonthlyfinancialstatementandworksheets.

  • -  AssistChiefAccountantinreportinginpreparingquarterlycashflowforecast.

  • -  HandlepayrollVerifications,managingstaffloansceilings,preparepayrolldeductionsmonthly.

  • -  Effectively using the accounting system and ensure all invoices are entered and posted by end of the next day.

  • -  Ensureallcostingandordersarecompleteefficientlyandeffectively.

  • -  File all cheques and promissory notes in the reconciliation file.

  • -  Complete the daily bank reconciliations, matching the company accounts with the bank accounts.

  • -  Audit the wires and checks sent to the banks daily.

  • -  Perform Drive month-end close processes including cash, assets and liabilities.

  • -  Finalize tax Related reports and entries and monitory any taxation issues.

  • -  GenerateExpensereports,Gasoline,Travelling,Phoneexpenses...etc.

  • -  Entering adjustments into the system.

  • -  Control the accounts of the insurance companies and how the expenditures are recorded.

  • -  Maintainthepettycashfund.

  • -  Enter all cash Receipt documents into the Excel sheet cheque file.

  • -  Prepare all purchase orders and payment voucher reports.

  • -  Collecting invoices for payment, providing accounting codes and inputting the invoice data into the Accounting

    system.

    Requirements:

  • -  B.Sc.inAccountingoranyrelatedfield.

  • -  2-4 years of experience.

  • -  Adequate Knowledge in Financial Regulations and Legislation.

  • -  Handling, Depositing, and recording of money.

  • -  Modern office practices, equipment and terminology regarding to cashiering & reporting.

  • -  ProficiencyinEnglish-WrittenandSpoken.

  • -  ProficiencyinMicrosoftOffice(ExcelandWord)

  • -  Experience of using ERP system
